Korn - See You On The Other Side

This album is to be released in Dec 6th.
1st single already released is: Twisted Transistor

I must say I like this song but it is not a breakthrough from Korn.

It has a lot of Pop influences and as a composition I think it has the same musical elements like the "I'm Hiding" from "Untouchables" album. I'm looking forward for their new album though.

I've seen them at the Sziget Fesztival in Budapest this Summer and I was also very disapointed by them... They only played about 10 songs and almost half of them were covers (Another Brick in The Wall, One, World Up, ...) They were adjusting their equipment almost the same amount of time as they sang (15 minutes break every 2 songs to adjust the equipment)... it's sad...

tracklist:

01. Twisted Transistor
02. Politics
03. Hypocrites
04. Souvenir
05. 10 Or A 2-Way
06. Throw Me Away
07. Love Song
08. Open Up
09. Coming Undone
10. Getting Off
11. Liar
12. For No One
13. Seen It All
14. Tearjerker

Disturbed - Ten Thousand Fists

I wasn't very impressed by this new album from Disturbed.

Maybe I have to listen more of it.

The sad thing is that one of the best songs is a cover by Genesis - "Land of Confusion"
but I must admit they did a pretty god job with it, same as they did in the past with the "Shout 2000" the Disturbed cover of Tears for Fears - "Shout".

Tracklist:

  1. 10,000 Fists
  2. Just Stop
  3. Guarded
  4. Deify
  5. Stricken
  6. I'm Alive
  7. Son Of A Plunder
  8. Overburnded
  9. Decadence
  10. Forgiven
  11. Land Of Confusion
  12. Sacred
  13. Pain Redefined

Foo Fighters - In Your Honor

This is the 5th Foo Fighters album and it came out on their 10th anniversary as a band.

I must say it's a very good album and it is as good as everything they came up with so far :)

The album is in fact a double album - the first part is made with heavy gear and the second is only acoustic.

This is a 'must listen to' album to anyone who likes alternative rock!

Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies To Paralyze

This is the new QotSA album. I can say that 2005 has surprised me... I never expected so many new excellent albums in this year ! (and the new Foo Fighters album is yet to come ;))

It all depends how you like your rock...if you like it tricky, claustrophobic but with plenty of swoons and thrills you should get to grips with this big, dense monster of a record.

Centring its artwork and its ideas on the fear of the unknown, of the fairytale forests and the wolves that will eat you as you sleep, it's dark in a truly Gothic way, but still buoyant enough to get you bouncing around the room.

01. Lullaby
02. Medication
03. Everybody Knows That You're Insane
04. Tangled Up In Plaid (*)
05. Burn The Witch
06. In My Head
07. Little Sister (***)
08. I Never Came (*)
09. Someones In The Wolf
10. The Blood Is Love (*)
11. Skin On Skin
12. Broken Box
13. You Got A Killer Scene
14. Long Slow Goodbye
15. Like A Drug (UK Bonus Track)
16. Precious and Grace (UK Bonus Track)

Audioslave - Out of Exile

I just listened to the newest Audioslave album called "Out of Exile".

I must say I liked it but I didn't notice a big evolution, I consider the first one closer to what Audioslave should become. The album contains some good Chris Cornell vocals as always and in some songs the guitarist is just incredible with the effects he uses.

My favorite songs: Out of Exile, Dandelion

01. Your Time Has Come - 4:15
02. Out Of Exile - 4:51
03. Be Yourself - 4:39
04. Doesn't Remind Me - 4:15
05. Drown Me Slowly - 3:53
06. Heavens Dead - 4:36
07. The Worm - 3:57
08. Man Or Animal - 3:53
09. Yesterday To Tomorrow - 4:33
10. Dandelion - 4:38
11. #1 Zero - 4:59
12. The Curse - 5:09
